How do sheriffs gather personal property for sale?

I had a civil case from a credit card company found against me. They levied my bank account, which has nothing in it, it still remains frozen. I do not own a house, car or any worthy properties, I believe the sheriff is going to come and gather my personal property for sale, which i do not have much of anything either, how does this work? well if you dont have anything large of worth like a house or car yes they will come take your personal property. they have to get their money some how so legally i think they can just come over and take your stuff from where ever you live. I live in ohio and my neighbors home was forclosed and as he was moving out the police just came and started taking his stuff away he was upset but he should of got a job and paid his bills
