Because they think that the American society cannot get any more obese then it already is, so they add some sort of frilly ';extras'; to everything to make everything look for presentable, when all they are doing is sacrificing our generation to obesity problems..
How else would they charge gourmet prices. Alas America is no longer America any more , we cant find the every day,Holiday, customary stuff we know and love anymore.
