In legal terms the listing ';belongs'; to the brokerage and not the agent. In real life, the owners of the home usually hired the agent, not the brokerage. That's why most brokers allow the agents to take the listing with them when they move.
It depends on the broker. In the office where I work, if I moved, I would be allowed to take my listings with me.
