Check out Bargain Pages and local newspapers. Also look in pet shop windows etc on the notice boards.
Check out freecycle.org. There's bound to be one in your general area, and a lot of people give away pets on there.
I would go to a shelter. They usually spay or neuter them, give them all their shots, and you can see a wide variety of kittens with all types of personalities!! Plus, if you don't see anything, you could go back in a couple weeks and they'll have more

THERE are a whole lot of kittens wait-ting for a loving home as we type these answers and questions why not ck out a S,P,C,A. or rescue centre or kennel near you bet you can find a adorable kitty there and save some cash. besides they are needing a warm cosy loveing home.. PLEASE THINK ABOUT before you buy...............
Check out the website for around your area. The kittens are sooo cute there. They also have one that was born on 20/10/2008. You just go to the brown part and scrool down to what kind of breed or just click all breeds. All of them are precious, especially the one that says: Beautiful Kittens Now Ready(for 150)
Check at your local shelter. They'll most likely have kittens up for adoption.
