I want to relocate to Florida but know houses there are very expensive. I love gardening, especially tropical flower plants and tropical fruit trees. Be careful, lots of unscrupulous realtors are marketing houses inside scrub jay protected areas. If you buy one, you can't live in it or do anything to interfere with the life of the scrub jay bird.
They run ads and that say in small print it is up to the buyer to research what the property can be used for. Which is nothing. Apparently there isn't a law in Florida controlling theft by deception.
