I am going to list my Expedition for sale - it has 160,000 miles on it. Is it worth the money to have it detailed before listing it?What is the best way to Prepare my 1999 Expedition for sale?
Detailing SELLS. Wax and armour all covers a lotWhat is the best way to Prepare my 1999 Expedition for sale?
Detail it yourself. Get a nice premium wash. remove all trash, vacuum it really good. Remove any stains that you can. Put a clean smelling air freshener in it. Wash the windows. Clean the dash and cup holders try using ';Black Magic'; car detailer for the inside it does a really awesome job on the dash etc. The way a car looks inside and out shows the potential buyer that you really care for the car.
if your willing to spend some money, get the paint buffed, shouldnt be more than $100, it wont fix deep scratches but the rest of the paint will look brand new, and detail the rest yourself, (vacume it out, clean stains in the cloth, armour all the dash and tires) when you list the car talk about how great the paint amd everything is, that should bring you at least $500 more for the car.
