I am wanting to start a store where people donate items to you and you reslae them much like Goodwill or the DAV. What would I need to do to start this? Also, what type of legal paperwork do I need to ssell donated items?How would I start a donation for sale business?
First, you have to apply to become a charity... which means that they will give you a special EIN. Then just advertise that you are taking donations, maybe pick up a few if need be.
