Im looking for preferably a pair of unrelated sugar gliders about 8 months out of pouch for breeding.
If anyone starts whining about needing a breeding license, at least post a link, because i cannot find any regulations on breeding this species. At all.Where are sugar gliders for sale in the south west uk?
www.sugar-glider.co.uk You will find a breeder here. 8 Months OOP is a little young to breed, they should be at least nine months. Also, I take it you have kept sugar gliders for several years and correctly know how to care for them and are VERY familiar with them? Because otherwise they shouldnt be breeding. Sugar gliders can be difficult to breed, slightly incorrect conditions can cause them cannibalise the young or throw them out of the pouch. Having to hand rear joeys can be difficult and they will often die. They are not an easy way to make money, in fact if you are feeding them the correct diet and keeping them properly the costs would cancel out any profit you would have made.Where are sugar gliders for sale in the south west uk?
If you have sugar gliders already, or have had them in the past, you would know where to get them from. ANd if you havent kept sugar gliders before, you are not experienced enough to be breeding them. They are extremely complex, beginner keepers cant just buy them and expect to breed them with no problems. If you're after money, you wont make any. I have several friends with opposite sex pairs of sugar gliders who have never bred...one of them has had her pair six years and they have never bred. I know other people who's gliders joeys have been cannibalised or viciously thrown out of the pouch and attacked. If you dont have experience in how to care for them, this is what will happen.
