Ding ding ding! We have a winner! You hit upon it when you said ';I can't seem to find any cheap kind of it';!
It's not cheap stuff to make, and anything cheap you make wouldn't' work very well.
You know what is cheap though? Going to the local rink, paying 5 bucks and using their real ice (which works much better then any fake ice as well)
get a plastic sheet of some sort. any size and apply like vegtable oil to it to make it slick.
theres no such thing as cheap synthetic ice
