Put five used items on over a two month period. Each drew a response, such as, Wow, is it sold yet? --- Or, Very interested, please contact me. --- or Will buy this if still available, etc etc
Yet when I respond that the item is still available, not one of them gets back to me. A few may be people with similar items who want to know if it sold, but most must be lonely people with tons of time on their hands.
Who is playing these sad, time-wasting games?Who are the Weirdos Replying to For Sale Items on CraigsList?
Sad but true... some people's lives do revolve around CL and will respond to all kinds of ads all day long with no intention of buying.
On another note... Be careful on the replies that say ';will buy if still available'; and then ask you to ship over seas or their agent will handle shipping or a variety of other scenarios. Most are scams. Especially when they send you a money order or cashiers check for more than you listed the items.

The same thing happened to me! I've had for sale adds up forever! Not one bite...
Maybe people aren't familiar with craigslist?
