What is the best way to clean rims to prepare them for sale?

I have some stock BMW Motorsport rims that are really dirty. I am wondering if its best to pressure wash them or if there is a better way? I am wanting to sell them on ebay and want them to look clean and as best possible.What is the best way to clean rims to prepare them for sale?
First wash them with a mild soap to get all the large deposits off.


Then.... this part is going to make you think Im crazy, but it works better than anything you have ever tried.


Cover the rims with creamy peanut butter.


I told you it sounds crazy. But I swear to you that it works.


Let it sit for about 5 minutes then wash it off with mild soap.

pressure wash them, then go to a wal mart or auto motive store and buy a Mother's Powerball chrome polisher. it will come in handy for more than just this. you can buy the special mothers chrome polish or just use regular turtle wax.
