How to check if there is something wrong with a property for sale?

I'm interested in purchasing a 2-bedroom propety in Greater London area; I've visited one flat and liked it, but then it stroke me that the owners advertise it through 3 estate agents and price is actually more typical for a 1-bed flat. How do I spot if there is anything fishy going on? The flat was SLIGHTLY mouldy on the inside and in need of repaint but it was definitely habitable. The access to transport links was adequate, levels of noise - normal.

The flat is offered on 100-year leasehold. How to check if there is something wrong with a property for sale?
you would have to hire an inspector to go check it out.. may cost a little but will save you a lot if it is rotten in places that you can't see or has water leaks that will be hard to fix.

Mold inside is a bad sign of lack of insulation, lots of moisture and many other problems. So talk to the realestate agent and get an inspector out there....How to check if there is something wrong with a property for sale?
have an inspection
